about me
education
I'm a professional creative who is passionate about designing products for everyone. I grew up building wild creations with Lego's, one of my most famous was with a Lego technics set. In high school I took these passions and joined the Science Olympiad team when I was a freshman. Through my four years on the team I created a Rue Goldberg energy transfer machine with Kinects. I won third place at the Michigan State competition with this invention. Another success was building and operating a robotic arm in competition, winning fourth place at regional competition. My passion for building and engineering combined with my love of sculpture and color made me the designer I am today.
I graduated from Holland Christian High School with honors in the spring of 2017. I started pursuing my degree at Kendall College of Art and Design in the fall of 2017 and graduated early with my Bachelors of Fine Arts in Industrial Design in fall of 2020. I hope to continue my education with a MFA in Transportation design at some point in my career. I was presented with the 2021 Excellence Award in Industrial Design in May from KCAD which was an incredible honor.
